Multi-Split Systems
A multi-split system means that you have one outdoor condensing unit connected to multiple indoor units.
Benefits of Multi Split
There are several reasons why you would go this way rather than having one outdoor for every indoor unit. The part of a split system that consumes most of the power is the outdoor unit and so by having only one for multiple indoor units means that the running costs are much less.
The other plus to this system is that each of the users have their own temperature control. That means that if someone likes 22 degrees and another likes 24 degrees this is no problem.
Cost Savings
Multi-split type systems use Inverter Technology which will increase or decrease the capacity of the system according to the demand that is on it. If only one indoor unit is operating then the system will only work to that capacity and then as other units are activated then the capacity will increase.
As each of these units reach your desired temperature then again the capacity will decrease as will your on-going running costs.
The indoor units do not have to be a conventional wall split type but you also have a choice of cassette style, bulk-head style, ducted type or floor console type.
As each room in the home is a different size then there are different size indoor units to fit the application. Once all of the indoor units are chosen then we can select the size of the outdoor unit that is right for you.
